What to Expect from Your Dermal Filler Treatment
Dermal filler treatments involve injecting the filler into the skin with an ultrafine needle. A topical or local anesthetic is sometimes used to control any discomfort during the injections. You can return to your normal activities immediately after treatment. Mild swelling or redness may linger at the injection site for one to two days.
